Rafael H.

My name is Rafael. As a reader my favorite types of books are funny, action, and sports. I like these books because I like to laugh, and I like sports plus action is just fun to read. And that’s why I like these books. These kinds of books are real good, and I recommend these. I don’t like old books because I think they are different and have a different style.

My favorite books are the series of Ready Freddy books vol. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I like these books because they are funny and they make my laugh and adventures. I like those themes. They are a grate series of books when you have nothing to read. I like these books and want to read vol. 5

This year my goal is to read more books, find more interesting book read at lest 4 Mark Twain books. There are different books out there I probably want to read. I want to read more history books so I can learner more about the past, and those are my goals.

After Armpit got released from a juvenile camp he is trying to keep his life on track. But then he get caught up in his friends idea and buys $65.00 then is going to sell them for about 12 times what there worth. Then his friend tells him he was going to sell the tickets then doesn't sell them after all.

I liked the part were Armpit takes coo to school [a disable girl's stuffed animal ] and says for some type of election “Coo gives her comfort, courage, and confidence.”

Sachar, Louis Small Steps .New York: Delacorte Press,2006.
Genre: Realistic Fiction

Theodore is trying to stay out of trouble , but then his friend comes along and tries to double his pay by selling phony tickets. Theodore doesn’t know they’re counterfeit. After selling all but two Theodore goes to the concert with fake tickets. After the guard finds out Theodore’s friend starts to go crazy due to her disability. Then the singer invest them back stage.

I didn’t like the part were the officer almost ripped Theodore’s hair out because they think he gave her drugs. “What’d you give her” asked the officer.

I liked the part were X- Ray almost sells the last tickets. Like when the buyer offers 200 for each. X-Ray says “Four hundred dollars” “No” says Theodore.

Rafael- I haven't read Holes or seen the movie, although I think I might like it. I also want to read Small Steps because it looks very good, and kind of exciting. I am currently reading Each Little Bird That Sings, which is a Mark Twain for this year. After I read this book, I'll only have one more book to read and then I'll have read all twenty Mark Twain books! Each Little Bird That Sings is a book about Comfort Snowberger, whose family owns a funeral home. I haven't gotten that far in the book yet. I hope you enjoy your books!-Brittany

The next morning the youngest [Jared] had found a riddle that said “Up and up and up again” and so he goes to the attic of the apartment. And finds some thing, but what?
