Allie W.

My name is Allie and I love fiction. I love fiction because its fantasy it just makes me feel like anything can happen. I also love Biography because I like to learn about people who help make earth a home. I don’t like nonfiction because it is boring.

My favorite book of all time is “Old Wills Place”. This is why because it’s a ghost story. I love ghost stories. My mom likes ghost stories too that’s why I love them. The charters are Diana, Gorgie, Lissa, and Miss Lillian.

My goal as a reader is to read all the mark twain books. I also would like to read a whole series of books by May of this year.

Blum, Judy. Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing. New York: Bantam Doubleday Dell Books for Young Readers, 1991
I just finished a fiction, fantasy book. It’s about a nine year old boy named Peter Hatcher and his two year old brother named Farley Drexel Hatcher but everybody calls him Fudge. He gets into a LOT OF TROUBLE like scribbling all over Peter’s homework, throwing a temper in a shoe store, or not opening his mouth for our dentist. But at the end something happens to Peter’s pet turtle Dribble AND HE IS MAD!!!
I really like this book because it is funny and creative book. There was a part I loved “Come back birdies… come back to fudgie!” and that is what Fudge said in the book.

Seidler, Tor. Toes. New York: HarperCollins Publishers [2004].
Fiction, Realalistick
I have just finish Toes it is about a cat named Toes. The reason why he is named Toes is because he has seven toes on each paw. His mother died when he was just a mouth old. So he is a seven toe kitten with mean siblings Spots, Socks, and Ferdinand and no mother. Toes is so intelligent in this book he open a box with a lever and he was the only one to get the box open AND NOT HIS SIBINGS. When he got older he got lost for his owners and it was raining. Finally he found a house to dry off in and got lock in. He got sick without food. Toes got so sick he started to meow so the owner of the house heard him and help him the owner’s name was Sebastian Crabbe. He is a violinist on gets drunk on the third day of Toes’ stay and he saves his life by hiding his keys. Toes listen to Sebastian playing every day for about six years. So he is about seven and runs off. You have to read the rest of the book to find out the rest.
I like the part about when Toes thinks the TV is a magic window. Because it is funny and cute. I hate the part when toes gets lost he is so scared.

Toes must have a rough life. Good thing he is smart! If he was not smart he would die at the start, not the end.

I read Toes last year for the Mark Twains and I think it's awsome! If your into cats. ( Whitch I know you are. ) Their is a book you can check out in the library to learn how to draw cats if your interested. I also know where to find some Catz Comix books at the Public Library. The one next the skating rink! If you really want to get into scary cats books. I think their is a GooseBumps book with a cat in it!
