Creyana R.

Hi my name is Creyana and I love to read books. Sometimes I love books so much that I read them over again. When I was three she read the same book to me every night. She still remembers the words by heart. My favorite kind of book is adventure because sometimes it will lead to mysteries.

My favorite book is probably Cabin on Trouble Creek .It’s about two boys fighting nature while trying to finish the log cabin for there mother, father, sisters , and brothers.

My goal as a reader are to read all the Mark Twain books. I also want to go to the voting party. I really want to find books that I can’t put down.

Haddix ,Margaret .Double Identity. New York: Aladdin Paperbacks New York London Toronto Sydney,2006.

I just got done reading a cool book yester day it’s called Double Identity . I think it’s an adventure or a mystery book. Have you ever though that your life is normal until your mom starts crying a lot and your parent drop you off at a family member’s house you don’t even know. Well that’s what a girl named Bethany has to go though. Her and her aunt that she never knew she had were out one day and people kept looking at Bethany and saying Elizabeth I thought you died. And her aunt couldn’t answer certain questions. Will she ever find out the secret that her family is keeping from her read to find out!

I liked the part where Bethany ran away and heard big foot steps behind her “ I keep replaying the footsteps in my head they sounded to heavy to be Joss’s.” I didn’t like this book because it starts off dark “I look out the window in the darkness flowing past our car.”

Stine,R.L..Night of the Living Dummy Three. New York: New York Toronto London Auckland Sydney,1996.

Hi my name is Creyana and I just got done reading a great book called Night of the Living Dummy Three. This type of book is scary fiction. A twelve year old girl named Trina and her nine year old brother named Dan live in a creepy house with their parents. Trina and Dan have a thirteen year old cousin named Zane. Zane comes to their house every year and every year Dan and Trina will try to scare Zane but this year they made a promise to their dad that they wouldn’t scare Zane. Their dad has a lot of dummies in his attic he calls it his dummy museum. One day their dad comes home with a dummy he found in a dumpster then that’s the weird part because they start to find dummies aren’t in the attic were they left them and that’s right after Zane arrives. Dan and Trina think that it’s Zane trying to get back at them for scaring him or is it read to find out!
I don’t like this book because you think that a scary part is going to happen but then it turns out it’s a prank “Pinch me I’m having a nightmare or is that your face” the dummy said
“I let out a scream. Dan popped out from behind the coach, the dummy fell to the floor it was Dan!” What I did like about this book is it was detailed “Rocky sneered up at the ceiling. His red and white striped shirt had rolled up a little revealing his wooden body. One leg bent under him. Both arms were stretched out over the floor.”

Creyana- I love Cabin on Trouble Creek! I like the part where the boys get lost and have to find their way back to the cabin. I also like when they meet the Indian. I normally don’t like books that have to do with history, but this book was a great book! I am currently reading Project Mulberry, which is also a great book. Two kids, Julia and Patrick, decide to do a project on silkworms. But, there are some obstacles in the way. I love this book!-Brittany

Osborne,Mary. Polar Bears Past Bedtime. New York: New York Toronto London Auckland Sydney,1998

Hi I’m Creyana I just got done reading a fantasy fiction book have you ever traveled though time in a magic tree house, that’s what Jack and Annie had to do. Jack and Annie are master librarians and this time they have to travel in the magic tree house to the artic. They have to solve riddles to get back to there home but when they solve the riddle the tree house doesn’t take them home. Will they ever get back home! Read to find out!

What I liked about this story was the part were the tree house is spinning “ The tree house started to spin. It spun faster and faster. Then everything was still. Absolutely still.” That reminds me of when my mom is doing my hair and she say still absolutely still.

What I didn’t like about the book is it takes place at night “ She jumped off the porch and headed across the dark yard.” That reminds me of the time my cousins and I your playing tag in our dark yard.

Wow!! Hey thanks for recommending that book but I already read Double Identity. Did you know Polar Bears Past Bedtime is the only Magic Tree House book I have NOT read. I was in the middle of it when school ended (Third grade year.) I was so mad. I MIGHT try to read it again. IF I have time. I’m wanting to see how it ends.
See you in class.

Hey Creyana! I love Night of the Living Dummy Three. It is so good. The part that is really scary is at the end. Just think about when Zane comes next year to Dan and Trina's house. I really wonder what will happen. Hopefully R.L. Stine will make Night of the Living Dummy Four.

Gruesom, Gertrude. Drak's Slumber Party.NewYork:HaperCollinsPublishers ,1995.

Hey it's me again back with an AWESOME Fantasy,Fiction book it's called Drak's Slumber Party. A young vampire has moved from a moster world to a human world. This young vampire has to where sun glasses all the time to avod sun light. Nobody tesses him much about his fangs the human kids at his school just think he needs braces. In his old monster school he used to get up at 8:ooam but now at his human school he gets up at 8:oopm. vampirers usually sleep during the day to avod sunlight. When Drak has a slumper party with human kids. His vampire cousins show up unexpectedly and they think his human friends are fresh blood! How do you think he'll safe them?

I like this book because I think it's cool that drak lives in a castle "A castle is a cool place for a slumber party." Jerrimy said, Drak smiled "That's what I told my mom." I've always thought it'd be cool to live in a castle.

What I didn't like about this story is when his mom said you look more like a human than a vampire. His mother squinted " You look more like a human than a vampire." Those words gave me butterflies in my stomatch it made me feel like she was going to such his blood or something.
I thought that this was a great book I hope you read it!
