Charlie B.

My name is Charlie and my favorite books are nonfiction books because when you read them you know if they are real or not. They lead you on fun journey and you can never put them down. I also like fiction because they are really funny, even though there fake

My favorite book of all time is Mark Twains book The Lighting Thief because you can easily get lost in the book and you can never put it down.

My goal is to read every single one of the Mark Twain books because they are such a journey into fun and there really cool books.

Smith, Roland.Peak.NewYork. Scholastic, 2007.
Genre: this book is realistic Fiction
The book I am currently reading is called Peak. Peak is about a boy named Peak and he has a talent for climbing. He has a dream of climbing Mt.Everest but instead he climbs a humongous skyscraper. His fingers were numb. His nose was running.”Only 4ft. away from the top” he said as he climbed. Then he saw a helicopter in the sky.” You’re under arrest “! Said a man leaning over the edge of the helicopter. Two other men came down in SAWT tee-shirts and NYPD baseball caps. Peak was scared when he went to juvenile he had wished he had never climbed Woolworth Building a day in court and he wonders will he ever get ever get out. I am itching to find out.
Comments: the part I liked about this book is when Peak climbs the sky scraper. I also like when he was in court and said to his little sisters when they went to go get ice cream he told them he did not want any because he had a big bowl for breakfast and they said “did not”! I did not like the part when Peak went to juvenile.

Hey Charlie. Peak sounds great! I’ve tried looking for it but it’s not there. I would be scared if I was Peak, I mean I would get very scared and nervous if I ever climbed a mountain. I like how you described Peak with a runny nose. I’ll try to read it some day enjoy your book.

Genre: Fiction
The book I am currently reading is called Skateboard Renegade. It is about boy named Zach Halper. He loves skateboarding with his buddies. But when one of his friends (Brian) telling people to do stuff he knows they are not supposed to do.
